Background:
Matt has been with UR since 2011. Before joining the University of Richmond, Matt was a visiting faculty member at St. Lawrence University, and an Adjunct at SUNY Potsdam.
Technology and Society:
“I believe that whether we like it or not, the first generation of “Digital Natives” (children who were born into and raised in the digital world) are coming of age and entering our university. And our world will be reshaped in their image. Our education systems, our economy, our politics, our culture, and even the structure of our families will be forever transformed. It is my job to help the faculty, staff, and administration to better understand these changes, and to develop an individualized teaching pedagogy consistent with the UR mission.”
