Blackboard Patch July 20-21

On July 20, our Blackboard maintenance team will be patching UR’s Blackboard servers. They have scheduled this patch to occur during the standard Blackboard maintenance window in order to minimize its impact. This means there will be a necessary outage July 20th from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. July 21st.

You will NOT be able to access Blackboard during this outage period, so please make any necessary preparations for this outage by downloading course files/documents you might need access to July 20-21.

Once Blackboard is back online, there will be a few new features available to you, but there will be NO loss of data within your courses. If you have any questions regarding the maintenance, please contact your CTLT liaison or email blackboard@richmond.edu.

The CTLT will also be offering a number of Blackboard workshops this fall on Blackboard Basics, Blackboard Grade Center, Blackboard Assessment/Assignments, and Blackboard Rubrics.
